Okanagan Mainline Amateur Hockey Association (OMAHA)
OMAHA fosters, improves and encourages amateur hockey, sportsmanship and
good citizenship in the Okanagan Mainline District in the Province of British
Columbia. It assists with the formation of leagues and organizes league
competition within the Okanagan Mainline Amateur Hockey Association District.
OMAHA establishes, maintains and assists in the general care, supervision and
direction of all minor associations and leagues who are members of this
Association; and assists all others interested in amateur hockey. We provide
guidance and formulate an effective hockey program. OMAHA maintains a uniform
set of playing rules as laid down by the Canadian Hockey Association, and
amendments covered by the British Columbia Amateur Hockey Association, or
covered by the Okanagan Mainline Amateur Hockey Association.

First team declarations for all Teams participating in Tier 1, 2, 3, 4 OMAHA Male & Female Leagues is due in OMAHA Central Office no later than Sunday, September 5, 2010. Hockey Canada Certified Guest Teams and Sports School Teams included.

Declarations- final date September 19, 2010
Final date for Minor Hockey Tier 1,2,3 and 4 teams to declare intent to compete at a higher level for Provincials. All teams participating in a higher category shall not be eligible to return to the lower category for playoffs. All REP teams must have a Certified Coach & Qualified Safety Person and be Speak Out/Respect in Sport qualified to compete at Provincials.
