Okanagan Mainline Amateur Hockey Association (OMAHA)
OMAHA fosters, improves and encourages amateur hockey, sportsmanship and
good citizenship in the Okanagan Mainline District in the Province of British
Columbia. It assists with the formation of leagues and organizes league
competition within the Okanagan Mainline Amateur Hockey Association District.
OMAHA establishes, maintains and assists in the general care, supervision and
direction of all minor associations and leagues who are members of this
Association; and assists all others interested in amateur hockey. We provide
guidance and formulate an effective hockey program. OMAHA maintains a uniform
set of playing rules as laid down by the Canadian Hockey Association, and
amendments covered by the British Columbia Amateur Hockey Association, or
covered by the Okanagan Mainline Amateur Hockey Association.

OMAHA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
OMAHA scholarship application will be received by Central Office up to midnight April 30th of the current season. Please see Regulation Sixteen, paragraph 1603 for full details.

OMAHA General meeting sessions get underway at 1:00pm at Prestige Hotel in Vernon on Saturday May 29, 2010. Discussions on OMAHA and Hockey BC resolutions. OMAHA AGM is Sunday 10:00 am$100 fine applies for non attendance by an association each day.

OMAHA publishes their Constitution, By-Laws and Regulations ("Green Book") each year.
This book contains information on the OMAHA constitution, by-laws, and regulations along with other information on
the various member associations.
